The Best Fall Essential Oils
I love the fall season! Even though we live in Florida I fully embrace the autumn season and love the scents and flavors of this wonderful time of year!
I would even go so far as to say that us Floridians appreciate fall more than those that live in cold climates. After all it means that the extreme heat of the summer is finally coming to an end!
It might not get really cold in Florida, but once you’ve survived the summer, anything else feels cold lol!
I look forward to this time of year so much!

How to Use Fall Essential Oils
There are multiple ways to use fall essential oils to enjoy their therapeutic benefits.
Below are some of the more common methods:
Diffusing Essential Oils
1. Diffusing: One of the most popular ways to use essential oils is through a diffuser. Add a few drops of your chosen fall essential oil or create a blend of multiple oils to a water-filled ultrasonic diffuser or add to a nebulizing diffuser. Turn it on, and the diffuser will disperse the oils into the air, filling your space with a delightful aroma.
There are multiple diffusers that you can choose from. To help you find the best diffuser for your needs read The Best Essential Oil Diffusers here.

Inhaling Essential Oils
2. Inhalation: You can also inhale fall essential oils directly from the bottle or by placing a few drops on a tissue or cotton ball. Hold it near your nose and take deep breaths to experience the scent.
This method is quick and convenient, allowing you to enjoy the benefits of the oils wherever you are.
You can also utilize diffuser jewelry to benefit from this method.
Diffuser necklaces and bracelets not only allow you to take your fall essential oil scents with you, but look very pretty and stylish as well!
Essential Oil Room Sprays
3. Room Sprays: Create your own fall-themed room sprays by combining essential oils with water in a spray bottle. Shake well before each use and spray the mixture around your home to freshen up the atmosphere and add a pleasant scent.
4. Linen Sprays: I love to use essential oils to make a wonderfully aromatic linen spray. This is a great way to take the scents of fall to bed with you! Cuddle and snuggle up with the comforting scents of fall!
Spray your sheets, pillow, pjs, blankets etc. and breathe deeply!
I like to use Plant Enzymes and fall essential oils, to create a linen spray. The plant enzymes make a wonderful base. You can also use this base to make your room sprays as well.
Applying Essential Oils Topically
5. Topical Application: Some fall essential oils can be applied topically, but it’s important to dilute them with a carrier oil, such as coconut oil or almond oil, before use. Dilute essential oils and perform a patch test on a small area of skin to check for any adverse reactions.
If there are no issues, you can apply the diluted oil to pulse points, temples, or the back of your neck.
Also, you want to use extreme caution when using any of the fall essential oils that are hot oils, such as cinnamon, topically. Hot oils should be reserved for aromatic use only.
Essential Oils in the Bath
6. Bathing: Add a few drops of fall essential oils to a warm bath for a relaxing and aromatic experience. Mix the oils with a carrier oil, an unscented bath gel, or bath salts before adding them to the water to disperse them evenly.
You can read more about how to use essential oils in the bath here.
